I developed &/or implemented training programs in leadership, sales & warehouse employee training development programs, curriculum’s & testing. My responsibilities have included overseeing annual purchases exceeding $350,000,000.00 from over 400 supplier partners, managing the purchasing staff , inventory turns , marketing support ,supplier relationships and their related earned income programs.
I have also worked in Operations where my responsibilities included managing over 135 union floor employees and a professional management team of 12 for a 24 hour inbound and outbound warehouse production operation. This included managing the productivity, expenses, shrink, employee retention, satisfaction, discipline, relations & recognition programs. We handled over 40,000,000 cases annaully.
Change Management: – Implemented a significant labor practice change within a highly volatile and combative union environment without incident while gaining the support for the change from all of the affected employees.
